Reading and Me

J.R.R. Tolkein's The Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite series of all time. I love fantasy and science fiction, and have read hundreds of books on the subject, but The Lord of the Rings tops them all. The storyline is great, the descriptions amazing, and the characters are just likeable in nearly every way. The series had been a constant source of entertainment for me. Actually, after I finished it I was sad that it was done, and wanted to read more. When I learned that there were more books on Middle Earth than The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, I was estatic. Consequentially, I have thus read The Silmarillion, The Children of Hurin, and am working on the 10 book series The History of Middle Earth. I am very glad that Christefer Tolkein has gone through the trouble to publish his father's old papers. J.R.R. Tolkein's Middle Earth is one of my favorite worlds to explore, and I hope I will never stop reading it.
