hi everybody! ok books ive read lately... theres a long list get ready...

    Avalon High - Meg Cabot - basicly if you like King Arthur and romance than i highly suggest this book. this , Elaine, moves to Annaopolis with her parents who are both mediveal professors(who named her after Elaine of Shalbott Lancealotts wife), from the first day in Annaopolis things start getting wierd. she meets A. William Wagner. his friend Jennifer, and his best friend Lance and they are the three most popular kids in Avalon High School. she basicly figures out that they are all reincarnated version of the original King Arthur and company. Her World Lit. teacher, Mr. Morton (who is a member of The Order of the Bear) conferms her suspicions. She has to save Will (King Arthur) from the forces of Darkness.

    The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series- Rick Riordan- Percy is a demi-god, he never met his father until monsters started triing to kill him. Then his best friend Grover (a sytar - have goat/half man) takes him to Camp Half-Blood a save place for ... well half-bloods, and the train to protect themselfs. His camp counsiler is his mythology teacher Mr. Chiron (a centaur) the camp directer is the god Dionysus and he finds out that his dad is the mighty Posiden. The series is about his adventures with Annabeth (daughter of Athena) and Grover and other Half-Bloods, and a prophecy about a child of Zeus, Poseidon or Hades deciding the fate of Olympus at the age of 16.  there are three books out already - The Lightning Thief, the Sea of Monsters, and the Titan's Curse.

  Peter and the Starcatchers and series - Dave Barry, Ridley Pearson-  the books are basicly a twist on J.M. Barrie's orginal Peter Pan. Peter and other orphans are being shiped to London when the ship is wrecked on an island were there are only the Mollusks tribe. they are followed by Black Stache (later becoming Hook)and his pirates, and Slank who is on of the Others. Molly is on the same boat as Peter and is watching a chest filled with starstuff the largest amount of startstuff to hit the earth is centuries. she and her father are starcatchers who protect the starstuff until it can be returned. the starstuff is very powerfull (like giving the ablitly to fly)and can change things, when Peter comes in contact with it for a very long time he changed, he can fly and he never grows up, it made fish into mermaids and a bird into a fairy called Tinkerbell. there are three books already - Peter and the Starcatchers, Peter and the Shadow Thief, and Peter and the Secrets of Rundoon.
