Today I Feel....

I'm an eighth grader now and I still remember one of my favorite childhood books. I read this book almost every day or every morning when I would wake up. This little toddler book was very special to me because I would wake up every morning, get out of the bottom bunk and climb the ladder to the top bunk to wake my older sister Haleigh.  We had shared a room for quite some time and ever since my godparents bought me the book "Today I Feel Silly" by Jamie Lee Curtis and illistrated by Laura Cornell she dreaded waking up. At first she was glad that we got to bond with a book every morning. After awhile she had got sick of reading it to me over and over again. This is a book I will never forget.

The book "Today I Feel Silly" is about a little girl who excepted that there are different emotions people feel. She goes through hard times with family, fights with friends, getting hurt, having fun, afraid of boys, and all the other cases that kids at a young age go through. This will always be my favorite book because it is fun to read to younger children. At the end of the book there is a spot where you could choose your own emotion, and it shows the facial expression. This is an excited book for toddlers to read. I myself still read this book every once and awhile, because it brings back my memories and well I feel like a child again. I will never get rid of "Today I Feel Silly" and I will never forget about it.
