Sea of Trolls and Land of the Silver Apples- good fiction books writtten by Nancy Farmer, who also wrote House of the Scorpion. Land of the Silver Apples is the sequal to Sea of Trolls. They are good books about the adventures of a teenage boy named Jack and his friends. If you like Fantasy/magic they are a must read.

Sabriel, Lireal, and Abhorsen- wonderful fiction trilogy written by Garth Nix. He creates a world of dark secrets, deep love, and dangerous magic. It has great action packed adventure in it and I couldn't put it down, even in school! My favorite character is Mogget, the 'Cat'. I highly recommend these books.

The Rangers Apprentice Series- This is a series book written by an Aussie (Sorry, Louise, not Jessie Spencer) named John Flanagan. This Series is not sold fully in the US yet. There are only four books out. This series is about an orphan who finds his place as an apprentice to a ranger (Thus the name of the book) I love this series.
