Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess was truly a book that I have always remembered and always will remeber. In my early days when I was in pre-school and kindergarten I always wanted my Mom and Dad and my teachers to read this book to me because I liked the story it told and the pictures it showed me.  When I ask my parents which book helped me learn to read they always tell me that it was Green Eggs and Ham because I liked listening to people read to me and follow along with them.  When I babysit children now, I like to read this story to them and have them follow along so they can get the same effect I had on Green Eggs and Ham. 

  On every page It had a ryhme which helps young kids remember the book and thats what makes books like this one stick in their heads.  Green Eggs and Ham is one of the many books that I will never forget.  While I had my Mom and Dad read to me as so did my teacher, they would have me follow along with them by making me pointing at the words.  By reading and following along to reading Green Eggs and Ham, helped me in my earlier days with learning to read. 

   Green Eggs and Ham has a funny story and has some amazing illustrations to go along.  This is a book I would be willing to share with any kid because it tells you to try things even if you don't want to but you will probably end up liking it.  If you ever need a good book to read to yound children, consider reading Green Eggs and Ham to them!
